Important COVID-19 Updates
While seeing primarily urgent patients during the stay at home mandate period, we are again welcoming routine and preventive care services. We are beginning the process of rescheduling elective surgeries that were previously canceled or postponed. As you can imagine this is an involved process involving many facilities, and therefore, we greatly appreciate your patience while we work through these protocols.
We've implemented new pre-operative and pre-procedure requirements as well as new guidelines in our patient offices and physical therapy gyms to ensure a safe environment for both our patients and staff. Please read through these before your visit.
-
Wear a face mask as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.
-
Please expect to be temperature screened and queried for recent cough and fever.
-
We ask that patients come alone to their appointments (unless the patient is a minor or the companion is critical to the patient’s care). This will allow us to appropriately social distance in our waiting rooms.
-
If you have COVID-19 symptoms, please call our office to reschedule, or to see if you are eligible for a Telemedicine remote consultation appointment with your doctor. Please see additional details about Telemedicine consultations below.
Remember, the best medicine for the uncertainty that comes with this crisis is knowledge. We encourage you to learn more about the latest updates on COVID-19 and preventative tips at health.pa.gov/topics/disease/coronavirus.
Telemedicine
We understand that not all of our patients will feel comfortable coming to the offices. Therefore, we are still offering telemedicine visits where appropriate: a video chat with your doctor is a convenient and secure way to get test results, follow up on a pre-existing condition, or have a consultation while maintaining social distancing. Your physicians can still look at your feet and legs, watch you stand and walk, determine what areas are painful, and provide treatment recommendations. Please call us at 717-757-3537 to schedule an appointment.
